I cross shopped the Toyota highlander to the Hyundai santa fe. The Hyundai is coming in about 15k cheaper than the same trim level Santa fe. I like the features of the Santa fe better as well. I think the Hyundai has more tech stuff in it and provides a better value.

And the difference is in the top trim hybrid models. they are prob more comparable in the lower spec ones.

So you have experience with Kia and Hyundai in the past 7-8 years? They are no longer the laughing stock of the car community. The Genesis line is even taking down BMW, Mercedes, and Audi in the luxury line ups.

Yes and they have gotten better. Let's see how they hold up when they hit 15 years and 200k miles.

Im gonna bet they will hold up better than most offerings from any of the American companies. If it wasnt for trucks and full size SUVs they wouldnt exist anymore.

In for what vehicle was purchased?

Nothing. We decided with where the economy seems to be heading right now, incurring a relatively large debt that's not completely necessary, just didn't seem like a wise decision for us.
