Kid Attacks Intruder w/ MACHETE!

Love a happy ending.
I want my kids to hang out with kids like this! "I grabbed my machete off my wall and went to hit him,". Half the kids around here can't even carry a pocket knife much less keep a machete on their wall. Their parents think my kids are atilla the hun or something - they always tote!

But I want to know how in the hell the sheriff's department is going to claim with a straight face and a clear conscience that it wasn't their fault that homeboy was able to just walk away from the hospital. If this dude was suspected of doing a B&E and injuring a child, then why not post a deputy outside his room?

Well, it was almost a happy ending. The suspect lived. Can’t have everything I guess.
