Kydex holster making

So my wife and I decided to start our own kydex holster company we found you can buy the press and some other things with it on Amazon but we’re wondering if there’s a better one
Or really if anyone has any input that could help us please let us know

I wish you luck, but holster companies are a dime a dozen. You need to come up with something really special to compete. I hope you do.

Yeah, the press and such is the cheap part. The gun molds are endless and expensive. Then throw on molds for accessories such as all major lights, lasers, rds' etc.

Look at the DIY holster companies on line - the sell premold holster bodies cheap. Note the number of kydex holster companies that have gone out of business. A good friend of mine had a well known kydex holster company and he basically quit making holsters for profit got to just making holsters for friends and past customers. Good luck. Check out the pricing on eBay and see if you can compete and make a profit. I hope you do well!

Yeah I looked at the price of blue guns there about 60 a piece and I haven’t or even thought about accessories molds
And I will deff look into the pre molded ones

I have bewn making my own kydes holsters and sheaths for about a uear now. Super easy and you save a fortune. I would never go "pro" with it. Too many innovators out there with a lot more money than me. Here is how i made the press and i use a small convection oven i got at goodwill for 3 bucks. Kydex, clips, and fasteners are cheap if you buy in bulk. It usually takes me about 2 hours to complete a holster with this set up but 3/4 of that time is prepping the firearm and blocking it out.

As far as molds for accessories - my friend who made holsters used pieces of large wood dowel, etc. along with the blue mold for lights, target sights, etc
