Legality of shooting coyote

I am pretty sure on your own land you don't. Only a harvest record for deer. If you hunt somebody else's private land then yes you have to have it.

So you're saying that if you're on your own land, you don't need a license to hunt deer? I didn't know that, but it makes sense. It's your own daggum land.

Yes you are fine to hunt yotes (or anything) on your own land without a license. Check https://www.municode.com/library/ga for any relevant city/county laws that may apply to discharging a firearm, and make sure you're 150 feet from the road.

Your best bet though is to just put up a fence.

If not get the bow out

I have never heard of anyone hunting them with a bow. They are probably the smartest creatures in the woods. And they are super careful when they come to a decoy sound.

You get a coyote you are purposely trying to hunt within bow range and you deserve a serious gold star
