It just hasn't been done by the right kind of people. I'm sure if we put some of the ODT brethren in charge of it it'll work fine and everybody can get good deals all the time.

If only people were this concerned about elected officials.
Regardless of what they may say here I'm quite certain they vote for whoever promises the most bennies.
This statement sums up the reason that prices are going up on both new and used guns. It's that word "WHEN". If you sold 20 Glocks a week for a normal profit margin on a new gun, then the supply drastically shrank and you can now only sell 10 (because that's all that is available), even though you have 20 customers ready to buy, how would that not cause the price to increase? Yes, the dealer cost is still the same, but the ability to sell them is no longer what it was. Dealers are literally selling themselves out of business. What they sell this week can not be replaced next week. They are forced to charge more for the stock that they are able to get their hands on, because it isn't known WHEN more will be available. I'm fortunate that this doesn't really affect me, as my main business is repair and refinishing, but I'm not ignorant to it either. I've seen the supply from distributors go to 0 available, from what once was thousands available any given day of the week.
When we start voting? Drunken Friday nights look good to me

I think that fappin' feller what gits all bent outta shape over askin' prices can serve as president pro tempore of the ODT Central Pricing Committee until we count ballots from non-banned members on Saturday.
