I decided that it was time to upgrade the scope on my BLR. The all steel, fixed power, Redfield was getting retired. In it's place I installed a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6X so I'd not only have something lighter, but also something I could use for those potential closer shots while on a trail.

The circles represent a 3 shot group at 100 yards slightly over one inch.
Just got the 9422 to the house. According to Winchester this rifle was produced in the first month of production in 1972 serial number F4528. Be on look out in classifieds soon.
Here is my Henry Frontier 24" Factory Threaded model. Before this I considered my 10/22TD my favorite rifle but this one is too much fun. I bought a cheek rest/leather wrap for the stock, mainly to protect the walnut underneath. It was crafted in Poland and took about three weeks to arrive. I was blessed with the opportunity to take a friend who is actually just 16 years old out shooting. I pretty much consider him my younger brother. We shot a swinging steel target and some orange clays.
