I know this wont go over well in here, but can someone please point out to me why this is complete crap? Don't people in here constantly advocate firearms training? Isn't it true that in a stressful situation this is a very likely outcome even for trained individuals? The video doesn't seem to be advocating against concealed carry. They are merely showing what is in fact true. People with little to no training will be next to useless in these types of situations. What am I missing here?

I'm with you, sparked1. I fail to see any "libtardedness" happening here. What I see is, "If you're going to carry a gun, be proficient with it!" If anything, it shows that Airsoft kids/video gamers aren't the hot stuff they might think they are.. And really kinda debunks that whole "Video Games = Murder Simulators" argument.

The way I see it, it's really kinda ridiculous to try to politicize this at all.

I still don't see how the video is advocating to disarm average citizens. It's not creating fear either. If it weren't true then I would call it fear-mongering, but it is true, therefore, I call it informative. If anything I would think this type of info would be praised in here as there are too many idiots out there with guns for the sheer sake of exercising their 2nd amendment. It's been said many times before, the 2nd gives you the right, not the ability. I've been holding off on my CWL until I can get in some proper training. Nothing wrong with that.

I agree! You have to start somewhere, and get trained on the proper use and safety of any tool. However, I do not believe for a second that it was Diane's or ABC's intent to encourage CC's to seek training. Rather I think it was just another slanted dig at Gun Owners. JMO

The stupid point they were trying to make is that the carrier of a KNOWN FAKE GUN didn't react properly and shoot the guy he though was a real killer... with his FAKE GUN... The ones who managed to get off shots were obviously stupid for trying to take out a REAL criminal with a FAKE gun that shoots paint pellets. I would have ducked behind a desk or ran for my life also, knowing I didn't have a real gun or another way to take down the attacker.

What they were trying to say with the video is that even if you have an armed student in the room they couldn't be effective against an armed attacker.

This is just another reason I haven't watched anything on the mainstream news since about 1992.

This is the silliest bunch of crap I have ever seen! This video makes you think that everyone is gonna die all the time, especially those who are armed. So, the conclusion I guess they want you to draw is: better not try to protect yourself, you are not a cop, so you are way too stupid-and you will just die anyway.
