I'm crazy late to this party but one of my instructors from back I'm the day built a sub 5 lb comp gun. It was mostly battle arms development lightweight stuff with a skeletonized bcg and the little thing that bolts to the buffer tube for a stock. Faxon pencil barrel with a micro red dot.

I love the looks of the BAD receiver set but I’m not a fan of the fully Ambi receivers I seen a guy drop a mag on accident with the rifle slung because something hit the mag release on the left side. I’m pretty happy with the build it’s very light (especially compared to my other comp rifles) yet feels capable of what I need out of it
