The two top holes in the target were the first two rounds fired from the gun. After the second shot (the lowest) I made one more correction then shot a 5 round group which resulted in ragged hole above the red. Just for giggles and to confirm zero I placed my point of aim at the 9 and fired 5 more rounds
Sorry it's sideways.Yesterday I went to zero the rifle and @ 100 yards it's honestly boring it will put 5 rounds on top of each other without me trying. After I got my zero I backed up to 500 yards but I didn't get a chance to crono my rounds. I fired a few but my spotter was telling me I was high by about 1/2 mil my initial dial was 3.4 Mils. I had estimated that I would be getting around 2650 with 168g FGMM and used a app on my phone with those numbers.. My guess was wrong it should of been more like 2720ish which would of given me a correction factor close to 3 mils give or take a .10th. Anyways it got dark pretty fast because it was so overcast last night. I hope to have her doped to 1000 yards as soon as my batch of 175g FGMM comes in and I will do better range report. I am looking for other guys around the Savannah area to meet up with who are also interested in LR shooting.. Don't hesitate to PM me maybe we can shoot together sometime.
