I do not have a long gun build that is designed for what others call "tack driving" but I am getting interested. Now I know everyone has their opinion and that is why I am asking here. What upper (that is where I am starting) would be recommended and why?
Considering that in reality a 300 meter shot is about as far as the trees will allow, and I want to shoot both 223 and 5.56, I have kind of seen that a Wylde, free floated, s/s in 18-20" is a good place to be.
Now keeping in mind that glass will have to be added and what the title says, what uppers would be recommended?
And later I will inquire about the glass because I have never used it before. Never. The Marines taught me how to use a sling back in '81 and I have always just used iron sights. This will be all new. Thanks in advance for your time. JP
