Looking for Ranges in NE Georgia

Does elberton require sponsorship?

If a range requires sponsorship, just go to matches or days it's open to the public and make friends that will sponsor you.

Their website says you need 3 sponsors to apply for membership. Don't know anyone that goes there unfortunately.

Hey Everyone, Recently one of the best ranges here in NE Georgia (North Georgia Wildlands Club) shut down for good. Loved being able to go out and do some dynamic shooting and holster work. All of the WMA ranges are not training friendly. I was hoping to find something somewhat close (+/- 1hr of Athens).

Does anyone have any recommendations for ranges that allow holster/dynamic work and preferably have steel or allow you to bring steel? Indoor ranges are not really my thing. Any suggestions would really be appreciated. Looking into doing my first match soon and want to get some practical training in. Thanks so much everyone. Hope ya'll had a merry Christmas.

Red Hill Range in Martin/Red Hill Ga is pretty great. $20 an hour and there’s a ton of steel and you can shoot from 10-100 yds easy. On a good day with the range to yourself you can back up to 200. Its about 20 min from me in Braselton/Hoschton and worth the drive but if I was driving over an hour that might change the math.

Nope! But you do have to call/text the owner in advance to set up time.
