Looking to purchase a new AR any suggestions?

Currently looking into buying my first AR.
I’ve been around handguns my whole life and I enjoy building them but never really got into long rifles. I’m not sure what to look for in a good AR. I want something reliable but not too pricey I’m trying to stick in the $700-$900 range. Also what are the first accessories I should add to it? Optics, lights etc… THANKS!!
If I was a young man I would save for one of these. But what do I know, I’m grabbing my AK since any Neanderthal like me can master it for sd.

Radical Firearms are solid. I've have 2 and bought my Dad 1. Solid quality, never an issue, surprisingly above average and affordable. Is it a $2500 SOLGW or Geiselle? No, but definitely worth having. The price leaves room to add accessories and your own upgrades over time, if you chose to do so.

I have had Really good luck with BKings Firearms. I usually choose the options he offers with the Ballistic Advantage barrels. It is a great company with awesome customer service. He is a Fellow Marine and has very reasonable prices and the quality has been great.

In all seriousness. Everyone has different budgets. I have a precision setup from Wilson Combat that I love and would pay for again. I also have a set up from Bkings and know several other people that own them. They run flawless and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. The Wilson Combat is super accurate and the 11.5 I have from Bkings performs just like it should. depending on your end goal for the rifle and the budget you have they both perform the job they were intended to.
