Looking to purchase a new AR any suggestions?

Look at Bear Creek. They have a lot of great inexpensive complete or buy the upper and lower separately (still a completed rifle). What ever weapon you buy, change out the trigger. Easy to do. You can find CMC triggers on sale on line for about $100, change that first. Look at pawn shops for great optics inexpensive. Bring cash and they will deal with you. Be aware that Bear Creek makes side charging uppers also if you are into that.
Bro…seriously.

Bear Creek Arsenal is great if you aren’t looking for a functional rifle. You can spend $300 and have a rifle shaped marshmallow roaster or a prop for your Instagram flex.

****ing horrendous quality control. I’m pretty sure the steel they use for their barrels is made out of margarine. Bolt carrier groups held together by rust, firing pins sporadically yeet their tip, etc., etc.

Seriously, not even this dude will touch them.

A couple of years ago, they posted a video of one of their guys assembling an upper. The video, of course, made its way around the AR community. If I remember correctly, no grease, no torque wrench, no torque specs, a pipe for a cheater bar, and possibly an adjustable wrench.

Surprised it wasn’t filmed behind the counter of a Waffle House.

José don't need no torque specs

Nah, my preference for what he’s looking for we already mentioned. BCM.
Uuuh! That's 1200 to 1600. Did I miss him going 300 to 700 somewhere? He said 800 to 900. You order a rifle off the net for 800 plus tax and transfer and you have just ripped a 900 dollar bill slap up. It was just here in the last year BCM went to their gen ll upper receiver because of breakage proving they weren't all that to begin with. Now have they got it all ironed out or what's next?
