Man that's tough even for a grown man if they're a part of the family like ours are.
Time will help but nothing will ever takes it's place. We had to put our jack Russel, Annie down a while back and it still hurts. She's cremated and in a little box on the fireplace mantle with her collar, paw print and picture.
