Other than aesthetics I can't see it making much difference. I shoot a sloppy Colt blue label out to 600 yds with good accuracy using A2 iron sights. It wiggles.

It takes minimal additional effort or money. It's a preference thing. Just like I know that Savage rifles shoot well, but they feel cheap in my hand and there are other options that shoot just as well and feel good to me.
