I left out the Acetone (as recomended) and added the Lanolin Oil

Full synthetic motor oil. Think about it. The inside of a Corvette engine requires more from a lubricant than your gun does. And it's readily available. Cheap too.

I JUST GO WITH THE CHEAP 30 WT MOTOR OIL.

I usually use Ballistol on my Glock, per hickok45's recommendation. However I don't use it on my high end 1911 ... that one gets the Valvoline full synthetic 5W-30! I just got a bottle of FP-10 and will be trying that out too. They say Hoppes, Rem oil and the like will hurt the finish on my particular 1911, so that's why I don't use them.

Recent Ballistol convert. Love the stuff.

For sliding parts I use this.

Waffenfett only on my Swiss babies...

Hoppes 9 for bore cleaning.

I'll use CLP on my ARs from time to time.

I tried Frog Lube but too much of a hassle.

I've got a really thin cleaner/lubricant for my revolvers but can't recall the name right now. Nevermind - it's Prolix. Supposed to be safe for nickel guns. http://www.prolixlubricant.com/

Have you tried tw25b? It made the belt feds sing overseas.

Rem oil for parts that need oil. Lubriplate for parts that need grease
