I'm replacing the worn out extractor on my NPM now. Great little guns. I bought a half case of Aguila, when it's done, I'll start loading for it.

Tula makes carbine ammo for about 25/per.

But if you like to collect historic military weapons M1 Garand is a must have.
But if I were a choosin, it'd be the M14. (if I could afford it)

Ya, I get the ammo price deal. But 45acp is the same price and i don't know bout everybody else......but Im'ma keep shooting my 45's when I can. Just compared ballistics with 9 vs 40 vs 45 vs 30carbine . Pretty WhopSided 30 seems to be a win,win,win. If I go 30 I'll be reloading for sure. But Hey this aint a I'M RIGHT & YOU'RE WRONG kinda thread. Never owned or even shot a 30 carb. Enjoying and Grateful for input

I would recommend staying away from the universal brands. I had issues with one years ago and @Paynefree has a thread going now about one he had that has gave him issues.
