Marines not trusted with functional rifles?

I didn't take any pictures with the president. I like how "your" pic is the only one you'll trust. I just didn't know you once worked for the U.S. Navy taking official pictures, since that is an official U.S. military photograph from 2003...

Metadata from the official picture says your name is "Staff Sgt Reynaldo...." if this is your "personally taken" photo...

Interesting. I thought you said that was a 'Navy" photo?

Photo released by the Navy. Originally taken by Staff Sgt. Reynaldo Ramon (U.S. Air Force photo). Metadata information indicates photo taken with a Nikon D1X, 1/80 sec exposure, 28mm lens, edited less than 8 hours after picture was taken using Adobe Photoshop 7.0, exposure program was shutter priority, etc. All of the above information is publicly released by the military from this official military photograph.

For the record, photographers from one branch often provide pictures to other branches of the military ;)

Yeah the units we served with shared photos. Like I said one you took or someone you knew. It appears it got shared with the Navy as well.

Do you know reynaldo? You and him old drinking buddies? Here's some simple statements: military bases in the Middle East didn't go unarmed when Bush came to visit and they didn't disarm when Obama came to visit. Most ceremonial rifles are inoperable with the exception of those which are designed to be used with blanks. This entire thing is another b.s. "controversy" that isn't a controversy.

Stuff like this really dilutes the water. There are plenty of real issues to despise this accidental ejaculate for.

(Damn, ended a sentence with a preposition. Someone will start an outrage thread over it now)

I don't claim to be in that picture nor did I claim to have taken that picture. That picture is on a set of discs that I brought back with photos I had taken and my friends had taken. The discs also include images that were shared by other units we worked with.

In other words, I must use pictures which I have taken or I know the person who has taken if I wish to refute the idea presented by the official military picture you posted which was not taken by you or someone you know? Got it... back on topic now that I fully understand the double-standard

Yep, Because I know your Navy ass was no where near me or my friends. But, thanks for clearing up the fact that the Navy is now claiming that it is their photo.

Normally parade M1 Garands are always disabled. They have functional actions but the barrels are welded closed. All of our M1 garands and M14's were disabled.
