Mark Warrens Survival 1 Class

I signed up for Mark Warrens survival class 1. It is Jan. 8 and 9 2011 if anyone wants to go with me. I've heard nothing but good things about Mark Warren and his classes.

Well, it's this weekend. We are building shelters of tree limbs and branches to sleep under. Time to test the 0 degree bag and my new camp stove. Will do some reviews on some of my BOB/Hiking gear next week.

I've known Mark for most of my life. He is a wonderful teacher and there is no one better for learning wilderness/woodcraft skills from. His traditional archery classes are great as well.

The class was awesome. Very primitive stuff. Made rope from tree bark, built a rake, made our survival shelters. We made bowls and used coals and stones to decontaminate water. Also built fire with by spinning wood pieces together. Very informative. Part two is on 2/12. I will be there if anyone wants to go with me.
