So police shouldn't be allowed to chase a runner while in a vehicle?
alright so apparently I'm alone in thinking that police shouldn't be forced to chase on foot just because a suspect chooses to flee on foot.
That said its a tough situation for the runner. If he suddenly stops he's hit, so at some point he's just running not to get run over.
I didn't say that, but you just don't run people over with cars. Get your fat, donut eatin ass out of the car and do your job. WTF is wrong with people thinking it's ok for the Po Po to run people over with cars? He didn't kill or rob anybody, for Christ sake, he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. . . . .DAMN
Yeah...I had a cop after me for not wearing a seatbelt once too...know what I did? I stopped the ****ing car.

Where's the part of the story that says why the suspect ran? Because I'll bet you right now that the seatbelt was the probable cause for a stop on suspicion of something much worse. And the fact that dude ditched and ran tells me whatever it was he was probably guilty of it.
And if you're not smart enough to turn 90º to the right to out maneuver a car in the grass and not agile enough to run without falling sucks to be you I guess. Maybe you shouldn't run from the cops then.
