Martin Family Attorney at it again

This appears to be an unfortunate accident. Some of the comments on ocalapost website are about dumb enough to make me rage.

In my opinion, it would be beyond "reaching" if this was prosecuted by the state. The officer was merely trying to catch and apprehend the suspect in accordance with the duties of his job.

I'll call foul on a cop when i see it, all I see is him not realizing that there was dew on the ground (or freshly watered garden it looks like). He tired to stop 20 yards out, you can see the brakelight glow reflect. He slid and hit the dude, which is an ACCIDENT.
He didn't set out to murder some dude, he was following procedure.
NOW, what I WILL point out is, HOLY CRAP how did he not realize the guy was under his car?! 3 other cops RIGHT there, presumably with eyes on the suspect?
They must have been high, he hit him WAYYYY too hard for the perp to pull a Batman disappearing act, not after a hit like that...
I'd say stupidity played a huge factor in the mans death, but that's assuming the media is accurate in his "death by suffocation" I keep hearing about.

My opinion, Cop didn't set out to MURDER anyone, some perp ran from the cops, an extremely hazardous activity, and there was an accident and he lost his life.
Had this dude just killed a cop or something, MAYBE then my opinion would differ slightly....
