When was the last time any guns, or gun accessories, were confiscated or attempted to be confiscated here in the USA?
I'm talking about the authorities coming to visit your home or sending you a personal letter saying, in effect "We think/ know you have one of these, and they're illegal now. Turn it over to us for destruction or we're coming to get it, and you're going to jail if we have to take it from you."
Ever? Anywhere?
Again... "for their own good". I don't think those count. Unless you get a letter, confiscation isn't really confiscation.... apparently.Watertown, Mass. popo did it while hunting for the Boston Marathon Bombers.
That's good to know. I feel safer in my 5th Amendment protections now.Again... "for their own good". I don't think those count. Unless you get a letter, confiscation isn't really confiscation.... apparently.
I suppose the TacSac could have been a choice.
You've been here long enough to know that no good ever comes from googling anything you read here.I unfortunately looked that up and cannot unlook it...
Well, that's your penalty for looking up ANYTHING mentioned here you are unfamiliar with. A lesson I learned early and only had to learn once.I unfortunately looked that up and cannot unlook it...
Agreed. Personally I don't think there's many things gayer than bump stocks BUT... Seizing private property with not so much as a buy back is the gayest **** of all. And even worse than that I m not surprised by it at all.Tyranny
