Maximum number of ads at any given time?

Usually when I am looking to buy things, I see a large pool of things to buy as a positive thing. I love seeing many things from one person. If I want 5 or 6 of their items, I will make a discounted offer for the package deal and get several items with one meet up. Any time I am going to PM somebody about an item, I click their latest threads to see what else they have available.

It's Guns or Butter if someone has a bunch of nice stuff and they figured hey I have an iPad but I don't use it and its worth money maybe someone on the forum wants one or their wife wants one and they will trade me a gun for it or give me money to put toward a gun. If the guy is unloading his house because he needs a gun or money...because who doesn't. where is the wrong? If they have something I want and I have something they need like guns/ammo/money/"everything else" why not?

The OP is right! It's clearly, and let me be very clear, simply a case of advertising inequality. It is not fair that some have so many ads and others have so few, or worse, even none. We can do something to rectify this! YES WE CAN!

I know someone who said that: "let me be very clear" I have to insure myself. He can lick my centrafuge.

I do appreciate everyone's comment! It's clear my thoughts are not shared by most everyone, at least those who posted. To those that have tried to compare me to the idiot in the whitehouse or his nanny state programs, nothing could be further from the truth, and the folks here that know me can validate that. If you question that, perhaps you should go back (find my post) and look at the "Nobama' grips I had made for my 1911's.

I'm not sure if any of those posting actually went back to look at what I was referring too or not, but based on the posts above I'm clearly in the minority.

I know who you're talking about. Meh. It screws up the Feed when he's relisting them all for the 200th time but since nobody wants that crap it clears in 2 minutes.

I agree with ya. Just like there is a dealer section for guns and accessories, I see no reason not to have a dealeer section for everything else.

Here's a thought or suggestion. I just finished reviewing the "Everything Else" area of the classifieds. I noticed one person had posted about 33 (57 items in all classifieds) items today and another had posted 8. I know this doesn't happen very often in the gun forums, but it does in some of the other classified sections. I'm interested in others thoughts to see if there is a need to limit the number of items any one person should be able to have listed at a given point in time. Perhaps no more than five items listed at any point in time? If one of those five items is marked as gone, then you would be able to list another item. OS, is this even possible from a technical point of view? Ok, so let everyone know your thoughts on this.

I've actually thought about doing this exact thing during the last week or so. I think you can list as many items as you want, but contain it all in 10 listings or less if that makes sense. FOr example, if you have 20 pairs of shoes to sell, just put them all in two or three listings.
