I read somewhere that there are local/city/state laws pertaining the number of primers you can have stored in a household. Does anyone know where I can find definitive info on such? Cherokee County is of particular interest. Thanks in advance.

The National Fire Protection Act at one time had limited the number of primers to be kept in a residence at 10,000 but there was a proposed change to change it to 150,000. I don't have any links to support this but gives you something to look for. Also, some states have fire codes that mention primers.

There was mention that competitive shooters typically stock tens of thousands of rounds of ammo.

Maybe this will help:

Firemarshal Bob... you say you think I have too much powder and too many primers.
Before you come-a-bustin' in my door, ask yerself this: "WHY would he have 750 thousand primers and 120# of powder?"
