May hit Lake Acworth today...any tips or tricks?

That will work Acworth lake is very yak friendly , Just fish slow this time of year the water is cold and the fish move slower , fish just a little deeper than you would in the summer ,
in the Spring, fish the grass, across from the kayak launch, next to the golf course. Throw a pumpkinseed jig w/ a plastic craw into the "holes" in the grass and hold on. White spinnerbaits ripped through the grass work good as well.
Anyone been out on the water?
Still raining and very windy. Boat ramp has been busy all week. The lake has smelled fishy lately, don't know if it's good or bad. Next week they start charging $10 to park on the weekends during summer.
Anyone catch anything lately?
Have to pay to park on weekends now.
Was there for a couple of hours this morning. You could use bubble gun and catch bluegill LOL. They were hitting everything. Very crowded.
Tomorrow will be worse. It's getting ridiculous living here.
Bluegill were slamming the grass in the shallows....FYI...toss in small lure.. Fish on!
