More M1 Garands coming to the CMP

Thanks, a Garand is one of the few guns I have never owned. I just never wanted to find surplus ammo and then discovered the info about a gas plug. I will now keep my eyes out for the ones at CMP since I only live like a hour and a half from there

I have only seen a few ihc Garands out in the wild. Some
Of the riverbend shooters swear by them.

I have owned three IHC all very nice rifles. I only have one now, never had a gap latter or an arrowhead only postage stamp.

My favorite for fit and finish remains HRA.

My HRA is dynomite. Just very nice craftsmanship.

Prices on the IHC garands: IHC Service grade : 1060.00 and Field Grade, 960.00, most USGI wood and CMP Stocks.


They are highly sought after hence the pricing.

Here is the South Store report from today: ( A local Forum member checks it and reports every DAY!!)

There were 8 customers at opening and the racks weren’t full.. Additional rifles were added which resulted in a total of about 65 rifles of the possible total of 75.

IHC SG 10, 1060.00, no additional rifles added since Saturday’s report. Didn’t see any IHC stocks.
