So I was talking to my customer and she stated she had a handgun she bought in FLorida, she now lives in Georgia.

ANyone know the law on that? Would she have to go to a store and transfer it to herself in GA? or leave as it is?

I'm not a lawyer but I know that GA isn't a registration state so I think she doesn't have to do anything. Especially considering that once she's a GA resident she can buy a firearm from someone on here and not have to do anything. I mean really what's the difference between buying a firearm before you move to Georgia and buying it after you move?

No, she does NOT need to do anything. If she is legally allowed to own a pistol, she can move anywhere in the state of GA without contacting anyone. With that said, other states have different laws, and so moving to another state, like N.Y. might be different.
