Looking for opinions, I have a few wheat , oat , crimson clover food plots that are of course fading quickly.

it appears that deer are bedding in them now,

mow or leave ?

if leave , for how long?

We mow but have so much cover close by… Just finished planting about 5-6 acres in Millet and 2 in sunflowers for the fall dove shoot..

In for comments because I was wondering the same thing. This stuff is about 3 or 4 foot high.

Do you usually keep it standing throughout the summer?. We have to bushog at least 3 times a year to keep it manageable or it takes forever to bushog and harrow… We do put a few summer plots in in Buck Beans..
No. Not normally. I usually start mowing in April but haven't had a chance to for various reasons.
