My first walleye.

It was Carters. Was targeting bass in the shallows near the banks. Caught him on a 2 inch jig curly tail grub with ultralight tackle and 4 lb test line. Old faithful is this bait.

I'm from northern Michigan and we caught the crap out of walleye. In fact I will be back up there this thurs to stock my freezer up. We catch them all the time in carters at night off the main lake points. There is a lot of nice fish(walleye) in all the northeast Georgia lakes. I've yet to figure out the stripper fishing down here but we do catch a lot of walleye, crappie and even big rainbow's and browns around the northeast corner of Georgia.
