My hmr bolt won’t close all the way please help

Maybe cycle the safety a couple of times. Hopefully there isn't a round in the chamber.

did you watch the video? is it lined up like in the video? Had a Browning do the same thing and that was the problem

Most definitely gun is safe The boat won’t even close without ammo in the gun the boat will not sit flush where it supposed to it’s sticking out at a 45° angle

Pull the bolt completely out and check for obstruction or something that looks out of place.

Probably headspace waaaay off. I can look at it if you are close to me. Or, scope base screws are too long and catching a lug.

Did you just mount that scope? If so I've had this happen when the base screws were just barely too long.

This. Often there are two different length screws. Possibly the long ones are where the short ones should be, usually the front mount.

Just from sticking my finger in there I can’t feel any protruding but I’ll see if that’s the fix thanks
