Here's the plan I based the bench on. I altered it slightly for and a larger table top, and used 4x4 legs instead of the 6x6 called for in the plans. 6x6 legs on this bench is like using a 300 Win Mag on squirrels. Absolutely not needed. Total cost of construction was about $75. One of the silver linings of a down housing market is cheap lumber.
That is a sweet bench. I have made four of those for myself and my club and they are very stout. I used composite decking however - adds that little extra touch, is very smooth and does not splinter over time. Nice job!
I use a camping chair and a folding tv tray with rocks stacked under the legs to stablize it. Too bad after each shot I have to set the whole damn think up again.
