So you are a no feed ramp on the barrel of your 1911 kind of guy?
.45ACP is fine with a 2-piece feed ramp. Only reason I would intentionally go to a 1-piece feed ramp is if the frame is aluminum and I expect the gun to see heavy use, or it is in a cartridge that needs a fully-supported chamber.
