There’s a lot of learning sitting on those 4 tires. Even if he can’t finish it and loses money on the sale, it will definitely be worth the lessons he learns. If it were my kid, I would spring for the cost to relocate the gas tank out of the cab, especially if it is an older gas tank.

Awesome truck, I am working on a 72 C10 right now. There is plenty of info on the internet about these old trucks and the value are only going up. Great source of info is C10 forum Great opportunity to bond with him before he gets married has kids and you are too old to bond..
