Name that bullet

I picked up a couple guns the other day and some ammo came with them.
This is a 38 special that I never seen before, what kind of slug is that and
what would I use it for other than on a liberal just to see what it would do.

It's a wadcutter bullet, looks like it's copper jacketed. Good for punching holes in paper without leading the barrel.
