NASCAR

Needs to be cars that are stock.
On the beach at Daytona.

Throw a cage in the real camaro and mustang and have at it in the sand. :thumb:

I completely agree that they lost all touch. Build stock cars like the past cut the rules about in half and may the best or luckiest team win

NASCAR is pandering to wealthy corporate types, and prices have been taken away from the average people. This is just one of the many issues NASCAR has brought to bare. Small team's have little chance of making races, much less of chance of being really competitive against the corporate backed monster team's. One of the 1st problems NASCAR started with was letting multi team's in the sport, the maximum should be 2, not five. And then the super team's get away with having more than 5 teams, is by having satellite team's. SMH.

This is one of the biggest problems they have, there are really only about 3 or 4 teams that control the sport and can afford to put the kind of money and resources that are required to win. The days of the weekend racer or the single car owners being able to compete are over.
The owners wanted to appeal to the more urban and sophisticated audiences and alienated their core followers.
The problem is that the people they pandered to have short attention spans and the people who really enjoyed the sport and supported it for 50 years have been driven off.

Yeah, the big teams monopolize engines, chasis and many other parts. It would be nice to take them back to 80s standards of racing. This would really put the race back in the driver's control.
