I've been reluctant to replace my Samsung S7 phone, it's been a usable tool for 6 years. But, it's showing it's age, battery barely lasts the day and using the inter-web takes forever. My wife has been trying to get me into a iPhone for years, but I've resisted the dark side so far. I hate spending the cost of a new Sig P226 for a micro-computer I use to play Angry Birds and using the GPS for trips. My choices are something in the Samsung S22 family or the iPhone 13 family.

Any advice is appreciated...

My office manager convinced me to cross over to an I phone (12), it's been a year or so and I'm fine. Several things I love and some things I miss. Would I switch back? Probably not.
real good deals on 12's right now. the 13 was called the "most incremental upgrade ever."

I love my iPhone but don’t be surprised if you see very little difference in your battery life from what you’ve got now

Edit: mines also an older generation but it’s a pretty common complaint over all of them. Not sure about the new ones
