Difficult to say for sure without knowing the pressures during operation.

Not if that’s the way the switch is designed .

I have one like that at my hunting shack
If a pipe breaks and the pressure drops too quickly it’s supposed to cut off the pump

You can replace the switch with one that does not have the low cutoff feature if you don’t need it or don’t want that feature .

If the power goes off and the system leaks down, it will trip the switch especially with a tank that small. Sometimes the pipe the switch is screwed onto gets clogged and that will cause it to trip .
