Need help installing Glock Sights....look

I'm curious. Did you get a look at their tool they use? If so, was it anything like this?
Looked similar maybe with less parts?

There are different models from different manufacturers. They're very pricey. The problem was likely they couldn't put the slide in backwards to keep the highest part of your sight from interfering with it yet still being able to push on the right place of the sight where the bezel is... I'd have tried to use the tool backwards than normally recommended and see if I could get enough hold to push where the bezel is...

This is exactly what they did. You explained it better than I could. I think the optic may have got in the way and they were just busy and didn't want to deal with it honestly.

Id love to pay someone to do it correctly.

I have both MGW tools, the universal and the Glock specific. They'd need only dismount the optic to change rears. The remount the optic. Surprised they didn't but really surprised they didn’t put that option to you.
They were busy. I think the few bucks they would have gotten off me wasn't worth it because 9fnhow busy it was.

Lost my business tho. Ignorance or Slacking. Either way I know they could have done it. I've seen vids since with HIGHER sights same.tool.

I don't want to bash their knowledge but I am a little upset about it. Being as its a KNOWN brand as Taran Tactical and I've waited like a freakin schoolboy b4 Xmas at the mailbox for over a week. ...
Has nothing to do with the sight. They just didnt want to take off the red dot. I work at MGW and make the pusher. If you were in the Augusta area, I would have done it for you.

Ever thought they might have been busy as you stated or understaffed like most people or the guy that you were dealing with is new and has maybe installed a few sets of sights, but nothing with a optic and did not want to mess up your pistol. I have seen that shop go out of their way several times to make customers happy and I know for a fact that several guys there carry pistols with optics. Remove your optic and take it back and I am sure they will square it away.
Maybe a rant but I am sure that there are a lot of members on here that have heard gun shops or gunsmiths say they could install items and when it was received back it looked like a three year old with a fisher price tool set worked on it.
