Need help spotting a fake Marine.

I agree with four_echo MOS should be 03XX or 8541. 8541 is Scout Sniper or it was when I was in. I think it's 0317 now. 0321 is Recon.

Yeah, OP you didn't know all Marines are snipers or recon. Those are the only two MOS's they offer.
Yeah I gonna agree with my other brothers on here. I am going to say he is NOT a sniper, might have served but wasn't in a STA platoon. And if he got a DD........yeah he is a POS tell your friend to stay clear. The guy sounds like the fake navy Seal I found down here...........real winner.

If it was my sister she'd be out YESTERDAY. If a good friend, my wife would just have to understand that a futon in the office and sharing the hot water was a small price to pay for letting her escape. I DO understand that she can protect herself. Should she HAVE to?

I worked with a guy who is two months older than me who claimed to be a Green Beret in Vietnam in 1972. He would have been a 13 year old Green Beret. He was really pissed when I called him out on it at a friends birthday party. We all laughed him right out the door. LOL!

I may be crazy,(ask some of the Marines here if I'm wrong), granted I haven't been around them for quite awhile, but he just doesn't look like a Marine to me. Maybe a weekend warrior? iPad has a small screen, but when I blow up the picture I don't see the Globe & Anchor on his cover. As a Corpsman we were supposed to wear one without the decal. It was hard as hell finding one without it.
They allowing personal gear these days? Only black bags I remember were the Corpsman's beach bag, and no self respecting Marine...

Guy definately sounds like a douche and your friend should vacate him promptly.
If he went to Parris Island for Boot Camp let me know. I could ask him some very specific questions which will reveal the truth real fast.

There aren't people like this in my life but I've been around a few.

All in jest. When stationed at Ft Lee VA, we had a Marine detachment in our training class. We always gave each other hell, always fought and drank beer together on the weekends. Good memories, lol
