I met a guy who was on VA disability. I have no doubt he served but he felt the need to embellish. He said he was a 88M assigned to "Delta Force" as a "sniper". (Army guys will know why this is funny)

If every story you ever heard about the military was true, we would have had no cooks, admin, or quartermasters.

I never served but I've used that one a couple times as well. Weeds em out quick.
