Need Help with M1 Garand Barrel markings

Could be a IHC post war barrel? ( international Harvester) ??? Maybe?

The following link posted earlier had a guy with the same barrel number as mine and another poster on that link said that was a SA drawing number which meant it was an SA barrel.

I also thought it a little odd that TE was 4+ and ME 0

D35448-35 barrels were 1945 Springfield production

Edit 6-45 to 7-45

Edit again: This is also in the post on CMP and I wish I had saw that post before I looked this up LOL

Should be a Faint Barrel date or has been sandblasted off just like in other post you found on CMP.

Funny just saw That as I was looking in my book for Drawing number

Not an issue as I have one with TE5 and ME1 and it will shoot way better than I can and those numbers are more common than you might think.

OK, Thanks for all the info and that explains the tag number of SA 6/45.
