TommyT I agree with the consensus of this whole thread. This gentleman seems to be trying to escape his own repercussions due to his personal lack of knowledge. You have done the right thing. I feel you prob are having a hard time with it because of the giving fair natured person you seem be. I hope you can get some sleep on this thing because you are not at fault, sir.

Dear lord, this is cut and dry. Clean the thing, no refunds. Anybody tried the Cinnamon Mentos?? They are usually stale, which sucks, but still a competitor to the skrawberry!!! Cheers

You've made very generous offers, so it's up to him now to fix it. I'd say move on - you didn't do anything wrong.

He wanted to buy it and that is part of being the new owner.
