No telling. Taurus has made AR’s for years, they just don’t export out of South America, IIRC.

From what I've seen of their other products, I wouldn't buy one. There is another company that has a local facility producing 1911s and 2011s in Duluth, Alpha Foxtrot, but from what I've seen of their pricing and what I've heard of their QC I'd steer clear of them too.
