New Russian Ammo inbound

Izmash is going to produce civilian and military ammo, so in all likelihood it will end up here, and it sounds like it will be better than the other Russian stuff based on this info

They say that the first ammunition they will be manufacturing is high-end civilian and sniper cartridges.

Hopefully it gets some more stuff out there in a year or two

That, for sure, plus I wonder if the sellers are raising prices/limiting availability to try to control pricing in the market place. I wonder how many Russian billionaires have been created recently?

Once that stuff does hit, though, we should see some relief. I hope.

Hmm, that's interesting. Currently sniper and armor-piercing ammo in 7.62x54 is produced exclusively in Novosibirsk, so having it made in Izhevsk is a big deal.
On another note, Ulyanovsk-made Wolf Classic HP is very accurate in a 20" Vepr. 2" 3-shot groups at 100 yards. Amursk-made Golden Tiger FMJ-BT is a very close second.

PS do not forget that ammo imports can be stopped with just an Execute order (Bush Sr. and Chinese ammo), so do not hold your breath.

It's great news, though I've read the same about foreign ammo: That it takes forever for it to get over via ship. I have no problem buying Tula, Wolf, or Silver Bear ammo...Russian designed guns love that stuff.
