Sold the one I had decades ago, and have wanted another for quite some time now. Thanks to an early birthday present from a buddy, I’ve got one again.

Late 1943 Standard Products. Probably arsenal-rebuilt at some time, as the barrel is a Rock-Ola. From what I’ve read, that isn’t one of the barrel suppliers for Standard Products.

Already got plenty of ammo and USGI mags.

Happy with it, and I’ll get to the range as soon as I can.

This is the first center-fire rifle I ever shot. My dad had the one his father brought back from WWII. I have it now and my boys will have to rock/paper/scissors for it when I am gone.

One of my most favorite rifles of all time. I bought a second one and put it in the paratrooper stock.

Hits like a .357 at the muzzle at 100 yards.

You could argue that it was the first PDW.

Dang, now I want to go to the range...
