Nicest bottle of Whisky or Whiskey

It comes out around November every year. Most stores have a "list" that you have to be on to get some. Some of the bigger stores are allocated more than others but they mark theirs up crazy high so that they keep some year round. If you want a bottle after around December or January it is gonna cost you.

I got it in Feb from the wife.

It was held back for a guy who never came to pick it up.

Blanton's for bourbon and Michter's for rye are my favorites right now.
Also IMHO Pappy (I've had 3 of their offerings) isn't cracked up to the hype. It is very good but not worthy of the hype. Also if you know bourbon and the different brands you know you can get the EXACT same recipe in a different "brand" for 1/10 the price. Only difference is the barrel...which makes a difference but you can get close to the same flavor.

What's the nicest bottle of scotch, or bourbon in your cabinet currently? It doesn't have to be the most expensive, but your favorite.

Lagavulin 16 for me.

Yes, Lagavulin is the top of the line in Isle scotch. We have good taste, very good taste.

My vote is Breckenridge

VW is overrated for sure. My :tinfoil3: says they "stole" their own to diminish supply.

Michters makes a great rye for sure. Brassy and bright. Try the Corsair Rye, pretty awesome as well.....same lines as the Michters.
