Things were overpriced in my opinion.

Prolly stay home if Okuma lets street people in the showNext show date is 11-16-2024
I had a bunch of Gen 3 in FDE unopened for 15.00 but nobody seemed to notice them. I actually thought they would be picked up right away. 🤷♀️Wow that's worse than the $25 Magpul Gen 2 AR magazines I saw.
We had a very good show and came home with just 2 long guns and 2 small cannons. I sold everything for less than I paid for it but figured that was going to happen. It is time to pare down my collection of everything including the box of collector cards that got sold. It's all good in the end.
On the good deals, I got a pair of Radio Shack hand held CB radios at a good price. Carol and I haven't tried them out but I figure if she has one in the kitchen and I have the other one in the shop she can do the breaker, breaker thing and let me know supper is ready.
All in all got to spend time with some of my favorite people, i.e. Alleycat and his fine Mrs., BDR1 and Beaver and his super nice lady. Biker13 was looking good and unfortunately we were heading out by the time I got off the booth and got over to shake his hand. He along with the other folks I mentioned are what makes ODT what it is today. That was worth more than the admission cost.
We also brought our own lunch and I'm glad we did. OS did a great job getting the food trucks but when we walked out to go home I was not pleased with the aroma coming out of either one. Brown bag lunch for the win.
Klif, glad you are going to put those CB Walkie Talkies to good use. And like you, I brought my "stuff" to sell, regardless of what I paid. After all, I got to use them, and now time to move on.We had a very good show and came home with just 2 long guns and 2 small cannons. Yep, I saw plenty things that should've been moving. Maybe a sign of the times........Pricing was kind of all over the place. I don't know who it was but someone upstairs in the back had a USP Elite for $950. That was probably the deal of the entire show but when I left at around 1, it was still unsold. Completely bizarre. Interestingly, the good deals that I saw weren't selling. But then I was seeing people purchasing some really overpriced crap. It was strange.
