Things were overpriced in my opinion.

Pricing was kind of all over the place. I don't know who it was but someone upstairs in the back had a USP Elite for $950. That was probably the deal of the entire show but when I left at around 1, it was still unsold. Completely bizarre. Interestingly, the good deals that I saw weren't selling. But then I was seeing people purchasing some really overpriced crap. It was strange.

We had a very good show and came home with just 2 long guns and 2 small cannons. I sold everything for less than I paid for it but figured that was going to happen. It is time to pare down my collection of everything including the box of collector cards that got sold. It's all good in the end.

On the good deals, I got a pair of Radio Shack hand held CB radios at a good price. Carol and I haven't tried them out but I figure if she has one in the kitchen and I have the other one in the shop she can do the breaker, breaker thing and let me know supper is ready.

All in all got to spend time with some of my favorite people, i.e. Alleycat and his fine Mrs., BDR1 and Beaver and his super nice lady. Biker13 was looking good and unfortunately we were heading out by the time I got off the booth and got over to shake his hand. He along with the other folks I mentioned are what makes ODT what it is today. That was worth more than the admission cost.

We also brought our own lunch and I'm glad we did. OS did a great job getting the food trucks but when we walked out to go home I was not pleased with the aroma coming out of either one. Brown bag lunch for the win.

I had a table(33) and I just want to say that I found everyone I dealt with courteous and friendly. I'm using this event to down size my long time collection as a private citizen. I was also very pleased that every single one of my buyers presented a carry permit. This made me rest alot easier. Thanks Y'all!

As for pricing, it is the trickiest, most difficult part of the whole deal. Trying to be fair to both the buyer and myself is largely a guessing game. If I got it wrong sometimes I'm grateful no one acted insulted or huffy. I sold some things and brought some home but overall I must have come close on the price. The market will and does decide.

Klif, glad you are going to put those CB Walkie Talkies to good use. And like you, I brought my "stuff" to sell, regardless of what I paid. After all, I got to use them, and now time to move on.
