Seen an article they’re putting on ,I think it was , 29 new employees next year . Said it would cut the wait time down to under 90 days . LMFAO ! If I find it again I’ll try to post it .

Yeah why make it easier ? That would encourage people to apply not in line with their plan to make it harder so fewer people do it !
It would be 90 days for maybe two weeks. Anyone remember the pre 41f rush?
Anyone here ever have a form 1 or form 4 go from “pending” to “awaiting FBI background check” what’s the added wait time in that?
I think the FBI part is the longest part......then once approved they have been known to take 30 days to mail the stamps.
From what I understood if it goes to FBI it adds a god awful amount of time, if it doesn’t go to FBI it’s a lot faster. From what I’m reading, NFA branch sends random forms over to FBI for secondary checks. Is that right or are the internet people misinformed.
I think it’s SOP, every form goes to the fbi....
This is my first NFA item but I have 3 more submissions a week after this one haha. I’ve been reading all the forums on what to expect etc.
Been a slow month it seems......
