Okay I'm into watches again. Post your favorite models

It's funny because in my twenties I didn't like anything but a metal bracelet and usually an oyster style. Not a fan of the jubilee style since they get loose and lots of side to side play in them.
Anyway these days I really prefer the natos and rubber straps on most watches. I really want the Oris Aquis on the black rubber strap. Same for the Tissot Seastar. Even the Seamaster looks better to ME on the rubber strap. Although given the price I would probably get the bracelet model and order the factory straps on eBay.

Funny you mention that... I ordered one of these for the Timex, in the event that I don't like the bracelet. haha

I've seen The Time Teller and some other watch channel claim that Orient is the new Seiko. They were referring to quality and features for the price. You probably know better than me that Seiko just keeps creeping up in price while not really giving us much of a good reason for it.
Seems odd considering Seiko owns Orient. I guess they're not scared by the competition. I do dig the retro models from Orient.

Oh yeah...in your last comment you mentioned the Fifty Fathoms model. I really think the Swatch/Fifty Fathoms collaboration looks WAY better than any of the Moonswatch models.

Oh yeah definitely. In fact I didn't even bother to look up the price. Novelties are fine and good but only up to a point. Kinda like how Hard to Handle would have been fine for the Black Crows to play live as just a goof or a joke etc. But to lay it down in the studio on the album and allow bull**** DJs to subject us to it from now on is just WAY over the line.
Oh and Big Balls by AC/DC... ****, don't get me started...

I bought a $18 Casio 13+yrs ago. It has a 10yr battery, still running. The only money I ever spent on it was a new band as I wore the original out. Just can't say anything bad about that watch
